“A thought is a Cosmic Order waiting to happen.”
Hello you all kids ;)
Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend.
We for sure had a very nice one. As always, we wake up Saturday in the mornings
and Isabella (my 7 years old daughter) wants to go garage sale shopping. I have
learned a very good way to teach her some math and negotiation skills. I give
her some money and tell her, you have to know how to manage what you have, once
it is over, we are done. The big problem is, I am a garage sale lover myself :)
I like to see what people are getting rid of and sometimes I find good
deals.
This Saturday, while visiting some garage
sale in the neighborhood, I have the opportunity to talk about Pilot International,
this wonderful nonprofit organization I belong to and even got some good
donation for our annual garage sale that will happen next Saturday. The lady
was so nice, got to hear about what we do and even drove her truck to my house
to bring her left over. All very nice stuff. When she came over, she saw my sign that Fred Nika, one of our dear friend made for Embroidea Custom Embroidery and asked me about my business and asked me for some business card because at her work, they will be able to use my services. This is the Law of attraction, everything we give, we get something else in return. I was working on getting donations for our Organization and endep up getting one more possible great Customer. I felt very lucky to have gotten
some more donations for our project. Last year, with the money from the garage sale we had, we
got to buy IPads for a class of students with Autism. We made a teacher and
kids very happy with that donation. We are a small group in Springfield and
trying to grow our group. We want more people to join us to fight for a good
cause and make a difference in this world.
This Friday, September the 8th, at 6:00 pm
at the KC Hall, we are having an event named “Share Pilot", we would be so
glad to have you visiting us. You would be able to learn more about our cause
and maybe join us in this Journey. You can RSVP me Zee 217 502-2088 if you feel
like visiting us. We would be so happy :) Also, if you have items that you
would like to donate for our annual garage sale, please do so, reply to this
post and we will pick up your items at your place.
I am finishing this beautiful weekend that I
had, first of all thanking my Lord, for all the joys that He brings to my life and also all the blessings. Thank you dear Lord for all the wonderful family and friends
you have given to me. Thanks for making me an instrument of your peace.
I pray that we all will have a wonderful
week ahead and that if we BELIEVE, we will get everything that we need accomplished.
I pray that our Lord will be with you and your family always... AMEM
God bless and be with you!

I can live for two months on a good compliment. ( Mark Twain)

Yes, I can live for two months on a good compliment, just like Mark Twain said :) Sometimes all we need to feel good is a compliment. It doesn't cost a dime and make us feel so good. I have always enjoyed saying compliments to my friends and Customers because I know how they make me feel.
I was having a good day, not to much productive but, it was an ok day until a few minutes ago when I got this Convo from Etsy that made my day :))
This lady was browsing the net trying to find a birthday dress for her daughter. Even thinking that she couldn't afford it, she took some minutes of her time to say something nice that put a big smile on my face :)
God bless your heart dear mom :)
Isn't it so easy? Now I keep thinking to myself: why don't I just pay it forward? Why don't I give a look through all the shops on Etsy and maybe I can be lucky enough to make somebody Else's day!
This is the world that I want for the next generation. A world of love, peace and gratitude. John Lennon was so right when he said that he was a dreamer, but he wasn't the only one. I am a dreamer as well.
I thought I would share with you what made my day today :)
God bless that lady's family and yes, I have done something about it... They say that money makes the world go round but, Love also does the same.
God bless you and your family!
Smile :) Life is GOOD!

Dear Lord, thank you very much for this day.
Thank you for watching over my family, giving me patience, wisdom, peace of mind, thank you dear Lord for all the blessings you bring to my life. Since the moment I wake up in the morning to the time I go to bed to rest, my heart is full of joy because I know you are with me every minute of my day.
Thank you Lord for the opportunity of owning my own business and keeping it running smooth. Thank you so much all the Customers I have and the moms and babies who buys my First Birthday Dresses. You know I make each one of them with love.
Life is so precious and I have so much to be thankful for. I am not talking about material things but the ones that money cant buy.

"If I had a day that I could give you...
Its 9/11, a very sad day to remember what happened in our Country. God be with the Victims of 9/11.
Today, for some reason, to me, it has been like one of those days that we feel like we are at peace with the universe... One of those days that feels like we can conquer the world... That is how I feel right now. I have a beautiful family, wonderful friends and Customers...
I look around and see my machines running smooth, work getting done, it feels like everything is in harmony :) This is how I wish my life were all the time... Yeah, I know it isn’t possible all the time but you know what? I am enjoying it as much as I can. I am taking advantage on this precious feeling I have inside me right now to be thankful for everything that Lord has given to me, every little thing I've gotten with my hard work. I've learned early in life that nothing comes easy to us, everything that we want very badly has to be deserved. I've learned that everything that comes easily, goes away easily... I want everything to never go away so, I don’t mind about working hard for it. I want the love of my family, friends and customers to always stay with me. When I am gone from this world, I don’t want people to remember me for the things I used to have but for the difference I've made in their lives. I want to be healthy and I want to always have the strength to help others in my community who needs me. That is why I live for.
You might be thinking, today is September 11th, it's a sad day to our country, a day to remember all the victims of the 09/11 attack. Yes it is a very sad day but, I am taking some minutes also to pray for the ones who suffered and still suffer because of that day. Unfortunately that happened, but, let’s look forward to a world of peace to every single nation in the world. Peace starts at our home, lets teach our kids the right thing to do, lets teach them better with actions and not only with words.
There is one thing about the numbers 9/11 that makes me smile big. Yeah :)) on February First of 2006, my daughter Isabella was born weighing 9 pounds and 11 ounces. God bless the day she was born. :)
Let's always have positive thoughts, positive people around us, positives actions bring us positives results.
Dear Lord, thank you for this moment of infinite peace I am experiencing right now. It's a beautiful day out and it's a beautiful day within :)) Nope, I am not on any kind of drugs, what makes me feel like this, I would say, is the love of our Lord that I will always have in my heart. :)))
Quoting John Denver I would say "If I had a day that I could give you, I'd give to you the day just like today."
Have a peaceful day my loved ones :)
God bless us always...

| Halloween First Birthday Dress made from scratch this weekend |
The weekend is almost over..
I can tell we had a wonderful one. Isabella had some "grandma time" she spent the night at grandma's and went to the church with her. Brian and I had some quality time together and some time spent with friends.
I beteween all the cleaning and fun, I have gotten a First Birthday Dress made from scratch. There is nothing that relaxes me more than working on my little dresses. You have no idea how a wonderful therapy it is for the soul. :)
Ohhhhh Cant forget to say that our plants got some water as well. We had some rain and I thank Lord for that. Our tree look so much happier :)
What is your plan for the new week ? My plan it to make no plans at all. Play it by ear, live one day at a time. I have realized that when we plan something, it never happens as we planned but sometimes, like this weekend for example, it turns to be a great one without any plans at all.
I have an idea about what is going to be waiting for me is God gives the gift of living through one more week, Some stuff, I look forward to and others not so much but I will take it. As long as we are healthy, there is nothing we can face it if we ttrust that God will be with us.
Ok, Isabella just got in my room and she is reading what I am typing, so she says that I should post on my diary like this, she is telling me this right now:
I should work as hard as I can to get all of my stuff done so that I can spend more time with her. She says I work too much and I have not spent a lot of time with her...
Ok She is gone now LOL, That little stinker, made sure I typed what she told me to. LOL
You all have a wonderful week ahead and dont forget to wear your best outfit everyday... YES, you best outfit is a SMILE, yes, a smile never goes out of style... :))) Try it right now, SMILE very BIG :)))) With your soul and heart. SMILE! God has planned a week full of great surprises for us :))))))))) Let's be thankful for what we have and God bless our new week ahead!!!

Isabella's words of wisdom
Isabella always comes up with something to talk about in the mornings, there are some stuff that she says that I really need to share. Too funny.
This morning while having her breakfast she asked me:
- Mom how much money do you have?
- Not enough. I replied. (I knew she was going to ask me for more "My Little Pony" )
- How come you never have money? How about all the work you do and all the customers that come over here?
- Well, the Customers always tell me they will send me a check later...
- OK Mom, from now on when they tell you that they will send you a check later, my advise to you is, look them in the eyes and do like this:
- I 'm sorry but I have seen this already. I wont fall for another one, you pay me now or you wont get your embroidery!
- I cant be unpolite with the customers Isabella!
- Mom, listen to me, I know exactly how you feel. it has happened to me once. I had a quarter in my pocket and the boys across the street were selling lemonade, I went there to buy it from them, they told me to give them my quarter because they were going to show me a magic trick so, I gave them my quarter and they made it disapear. I told them; _ Ok now give me my quarter back. They told me it had disapeared. I came home very frustrated and daddy took care of it.
- What did daddy do?
Daddy went there and told them to give me my quarter back and told them to give me a lemonade FOR FREE for all the trouble they made me go through. See mom, I came back home with my quarter AND my free lemonade. That is how you do it. Dont let them tell you they are going to pay you later mom, only give them their embroidery if they pay you right away!
She even finalized her advice with:
- Lets see how you are going to do today, when I come home from school, you show me how much money you made ok?! I was speechless... What to tell her after all this lecture? LOL
GEEZ, all I wanted was to get away with saying I wasnt going to buy no more "My little Ponys" to her... Well, at least for this week LOL.
Have a great weekend!!!
God bless
